Magellan Maestro 3250 Great Product at Great Price!!!!!!
I will begin with stating that I purchased this brand new from one of Amazons vendors and it was a great deal at $149.99 brand new. I received the GPS in 4 days with no shipping charges. Additionally I am receiving a free map upgrade to 2008/09 because the item is new. You should be able to take advantage of all of this by purchasing this items (don't go refurbished, no free updates).
I will start with the Pro's:

Great product
I love this for the bluetooth to phone since the law changed in California.
I would have liked some of the other features such as dialing by name.
It also picks up normal conversation in the car and says "say a command".
I would definately recommend it for anyone that wants to know how to get around.

Great gift for a turned-around mom.
I bought this for my mother for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. She has a terrible sense of direction and this was perfect for her.

I can't review it much more than that but if it pleases my mom, it can't be bad. .... Read more

Great options but not always a fast enough link
This is the first GPS unit I have ever owned, and for the most part, I love it. It's easy to enter in new addresses, save addresses for future reference, recall saved addresses, etc. One of the first things I did was go into preferences and change a few things, like the POI filter (I change this often depending on if I'm just trying to find a shorter way to get to point A or if I'm going out of town, etc.). There are A LOT of POIs to choose from. Another thing you may want to change is the volum .... Read more

Great Customer Service
Magellan Maestro 3250 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator
A very good unit and I am very pleased with the 3250. Yes, you have to hold the button for a count of two seconds, let go, and it turns on a second later,,, but deal. And yes, to turn it off, you have to hold the button for about three to four seconds before it does turn off,, again,, big deal. It gets me to where I am going, alerts me to traffic problems, and does all it is said to do. As for their Customer Support, it is a .... Read more
