Solid performer, as good as it gets
This is another fine Garmin product, which I got as an update to my previous Nuvi 750. The first 755t I received, however, had many typing errors with the screen (a marked contrast to the excellent results with my 750). After reading reviews about the input problems online, I returned the first and ordered a second. The second unit performed well, as expected, so I must assume the first unit was simply defective.

Impressive little device
I received this unit for Christmas and could not be more impressed. We recently moved to the Chicago NW suburbs and I was in desperate need of some expert navigational help. While I have not had the device for very long, I have logged about 12 hours of driving time in the Chicagoland area with this beauty directing me.

Pros/Cons & Compare to Navigon 2100 max
Background: I had always rented vehicles with a GPS until recently my frequency of travel to unfamiliar cities had reached a point where it made sense to purchase my own. I was not looking for a GPS to play MP3s, make phone calls, take photos, or fill out my taxes. Amazing GPS
I am confident that Garmin is the best GPS system on the market. The 755T that I bought is amazing. I returned the 760T because it can only save 500 favorites. The 755T can save 1000 spots. The free traffic reports have already helped me navigate around crowded freeways. I am in Sales and need to save many locations. It is very bright, very fast, and very easy to use. Happy customer
I'm a happy customer and not a shill for Garmin.

I have no sense of direction. I think it may be congenital. I need a GPS for any sort of travel (local, business or vacation). I had previously owned the Garmin iQue 3000 (the Palm Pilot), so I'm not averse to paying a premium to get the very best, and adopt the right technology early if it makes sense.
