The widescreen format gives you 70% more actual screen area than a 3.5-inch screen. Primarily this translates into a better view of the area through which you are driving. This is my second Garmin, previously had a 350 nuvi which was passed to my son in law. The 660 is awesome in my opinion, recently used it on an 800 mile trip and it helped to avoid traffic hangups and gave us excellent directions. .... Read more

I really like this product. It works great and has helped me locate a lot of addresses with little problems. I would have rated it a five but it sometimes doesn't have roads or buildings in it's memory that have been in existance for years. At the time of purchase it was also a little pricy. .... Read more

I no longer have to be a human tom-tom
I'm reviewing this from the perspective of having bought it as a gift for my wife. She absolutely loves it and uses it ALL THE TIME. She isn't really bad with directions, but finds herself in many situations where she needs to go places she's never been. Then, I would get a phone call and have to look up the directions online from her current location and walk her through how to get there. This thing is awesome. love the nuvi 660!!!
got this nuvi for my girlfriend as a christmas gift. it was taken out of the box and within 5 minutes we were navigating (pun intended) through the menus and various set ups. it's very easy to use. in fact, we got the same unit for my mom and SHE was even able to use it right out of the box. we love it! i might even get a unit for my car and use. .... Nice GPS
I looked at a few GPS navigators before chosing the Nuvi 660. I am glad I got the larger screen and found it easy to use, this is the first GPS I have used. My phone connection with the Nuvi was easy, but the volume of the calls received was lower than I had hoped. I actually disconnected the bluetooth and opted to use the handset during the first call.
